Update on Flooding from City of Calgary - info on new receptions centers and what to do with pets.

See the update here:

If you have a pet, please be sure to have someone take a picture of you with the animal before you release it to the reception center. During the Slave Lake fires, a neighboor of a dog breeder was able to steal a prize-winning dog because the animal knew him.

Ideas for pet evacuation
- photos of distinguishing marks and full body shots
- tattoo or freeze brand identification number
- vet records (even an invoice can help prove ownership)
- photo of you with the animal
- clearly marked waterproof container with a two-week supply of any medicine your pet requires - INCLUDE your contact information on the container, as well as instructions!
- Information on feeding schedules, medical conditions, behaviour problems and the name/number of your vet
